Plain and simple, this is nothing more than a ploy by Big Labor to trick fence-riding Senators into caving in and jumping on board.
In fact, quoted in the People’s Weekly World -- an overtly COMMUNIST publication -- the AFL-CIO’s Director of Legislation said there would be NO CHANGES “that would undermine the basic thrust of the bill.”
Of course, that’s not what they’re saying for “public consumption.”
But you and I know better.
The good news is, I’m confident the media blitz we’ve prepared -- newspaper, radio and hard-hitting TV ads -- could be what’s needed to turn the tide.
As it stands now, I can run these ads for a short period of time, but it won’t be long enough to make the kind of impact that’s necessary to win.
To win, we need to keep these ads on the air.
We need to expand this program to ALL our targeted states.
